A lot of places request doctor approval before jumps if you're over a certain age (like over the age of 50). How do you actually get approval, though? Is there a form you can pick up and have him/her sign it? Or can you just get a note from him of some sort? Do they have to verify it?
I don't understand why they make people get a doctor's approval when you have to sign a waiver saying if you die, they're not responsible. Perhaps they really do care about you.
Maybe so? I mean, nobody really wants to be the one to pick up the dead guy when he hits the ground because he had a heart attack in the air, ya know? They'd rather avoid that, if nothing else.
